In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And it was very good… until some snake came along to spoil it! Most of us would love to rediscover Paradise to some extent – reduce our stress levels, have more harmony in our relationships,and use pure, natural ingredients on our skins. We'd also love to feel more confident about 'who we are'

I began making beauty products 4 years ago just for myself and gifts for friends. What started as a hobby grew. mainly because of a newspaper article suggesting that anti-wrinkle creams use human body fat. I decided not to use products unless I knew what was in them and the simplest way was to make my own.

I've also taken the things that I've found helpful along the way through life - colour consultation, personality profiling, music, coaching - and offer them to others in accessible ways. So I run confidence courses and singing workshops as well as taking personal clients in my studio in the Garden. Jan Harney has a VTCT diploma in Colour Consultation, a Certificate in Lifecoaching and is a licensed reseller of The Path Elements Profile. She is trained and safety assessed in the manufacture of handmade soap and beauty products.

Jan studied Media Production at Salford university and worked in local radio and Comms for the Church of England before being Ordained in 2002. She has co-written 2 books and is a national speaker and trainer as well as running Confidence & self-esteem classes in the life-long learning sector.
